I firmly believe that people of all ages have the capacity to live without chronic pain, and my mission is to teach my clients how to unlearn movement habits and retrain their bodies to work FOR them. As owner of Ash Lentz Training, I combine two decades of clinical experience as an ACSM-Certified Exercise Physiologist, Cancer Exercise Specialist, and Somatic Movement Specialist to help humans of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities take their movement to the next level. Because forced, rigid training rules fail in our high-stress modern world, I work collaboratively with clients through virtual 1:1 coaching, interactive group classes, and evidence-based survivorship programs—using kindness, empathy, and somatic mechanics to release defensive holding patterns, down-regulate the nervous system, and build sustainable, pain-free strength for life. After losing my aunt, Sister Helene Lentz, in 2012 to ovarian cancer, I was drawn to studying cancer health and wellness programs. This work led me to found The Aunt Sister Project in 2020, a non-profit dedicated to bridging the gap between active medical treatment and long-term movement independence for anyone living with a cancer diagnosis.
